Developed in the far east several thousand years ago. It is the gift of Yogi Bhajan, who came to the west from India in 1969, and who so diligently and freely shared his knowledge of sound, movement, breath and conscious living.

The teachings of Kundalini Yoga were once kept secret and closely guarded from the common man and woman. These teachings were passed down strictly from Guru to disciple for thousands of years. When Yogi Bhajan came to the United States, he felt westerners were thirsty for the spiritual practices of the east, and decided to break tradition and share his knowledge with all who needed it. Today, these teachings are now available to anybody ready and willing to commit to their own greatness, peace, and divinity.

Following the legacy of Yogi Bhajan, and the masters who came before him, it is my mission to use the tools of yoga to help people connect to their most authentic, vibrant Self, and to create consistent, lasting change on a cellular level.

Kundalini yoga is comprised of kriyas which are sequences of movement and powerful breathing techniques to produce a specific physical or energetic result. It also utilizes the power of ones own voice and often mantras (ancient primal sounds) are chanted. Lastly, kundalini yoga has a strong basis and practice of meditations all specifically prescribed for ones own personal development and healing.
